About This Label
Rave Culture is more than just a record label—it’s a brand and movement born in 2018 when Dutch duo W&W decided it was time to evolve. Formerly known as Mainstage Music, the label was rebranded to reflect a broader creative vision that includes music, live events, streetwear, and a thriving community ethos.
Initially formed under Armada Music, Rave Culture quickly distinguished itself by embracing styles like Big Room, Hardcore, Trance, Techno, and Progressive house. Over time, it has grown into the independent Rave Culture Group B.V., complete with sublabels such as Rave Culture Asia and Rave Culture: Dystopia—the latter serving as a home for more experimental sounds like techno-infused singles from artists like NWYR and Wiwek.
Artists such as W&W, Axmo, KEVU, Husman, Maurice West, and STVW are closely associated with the label, reflecting its dedication to big, high-energy dance music. They’ve also taken their signature style from the studio to the stage, hosting festival stages at major events like ADE and Sziget, and building rich visual narratives— from the fictional “Rave Culture City” and iconic venues like the Rave Culture Arena to livestream visuals that immerse fans in the brand’s universe.
In short, Rave Culture stands at the crossroads of music and lifestyle—fueled by nostalgia, driven by club futurism, and committed to building experiences that are as immersive as they are electrifying.
