Launched in 2012 by Dutch producer Nicky Romero, Protocol Recordings has firmly established itself as a powerhouse label in the EDM world. Known for pushing forward-thinking sounds, the label channels the energy of big room, electro house, progressive house, and more, delivering dance music that both moves and evolves.
From day one, Protocol operated with a clear artist-first philosophy. It has nurtured an inclusive family vibe, built on values of trust, transparency, and expertise—making it a go-to platform for both chart-topping stars and fresh talent.
The label’s artist roster reads like a who’s who of modern EDM: Nicky Romero, Calvin Harris, Don Diablo, W&W, Thomas Gold, Stadiumx, Teamworx, and Raiden, among others.
