Alexander Turok, born in Moscow in 1979, is a Russian trance DJ, music producer, and seasoned sound engineer. He originally played guitar in a local rock band before transitioning into the world of electronic music.
Turok owns the professional 2Rock Music recording studio and founded the independent labels 2Rock Recordings and Boosted Audio. Under these platforms, he has released more than 40 tracks—including singles and compilations—distributed across major digital music stores worldwide.
Known for his emotionally harmonic and dynamically energetic music, Turok employs an offbeat production approach that yields richly colored timbres and distinctive sound quality. His dedication to sonic excellence has drawn praise from trance icons like Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Above & Beyond, Sean Tyas, Andy Moor, Bobina, Mike Shiver, and more.
He has collaborated with prominent vocalists such as Neev Kennedy, Sarah Russell, and Emma Lock, earning widespread support across the trance community. Beyond producing and DJing, Turok has engineered a wide range of audio—from pop and orchestral recordings to audiobooks.
More recently, he releases regular episodes of his 2Rock Sessions radiocast, which showcase both his own music and standout tracks in the trance and progressive scene.
