About The Artist

4 Strings is a Dutch trance group formed by Carlo Resoort (producer) and Jan de Vos (DJ). They rose to fame in the early 2000s with melodic vocal trance anthems that resonated across Europe and beyond.
Their breakthrough track, Take Me Away (Into the Night), reached the UK Singles Chart’s top 20 in 2002, driving momentum for their albums Believe (2002), Turn It Around (2004), and Mainline (2006). These works solidified their signature sound: soaring melodies, emotive vocals, and streamlined trance production.
For years, the voice heard on their early number-one tracks was portrayed as Vanessa van Hemert in performances and videos. In 2019, it was revealed that Susanne Teutenberg was the actual vocalist behind these iconic songs and began receiving official recognition—eventually appearing live with the group at festivals like Tranceformations in 2020.
4 Strings has consistently delivered uplifting vocal trance with emotional clarity. They continue to release new music and perform, carrying forward a legacy built on melodic depth and vocal resonance.
